Arnold IZ1-Hydraulic high pressure vises are compact automatic vises with extensive movement, specially designed for rapid clamping or robotic systems.

• 0.01mm ( .0004") clamping repeatability.
• All components are tempered and ground.
• Suitable for working in horizontal and vertical machining centers.
• Fixed jaw firmly clamped to the base body to maintain a secure reference.
• Moveable jaw guided by interior slides at the base of the vise to avoid upward movement of jaw.
• Totally hermetic
• No cleaning operations needed.
• Fitted with a totally concealed double effect hydraulic cylinder.
• Adjusted clamping force directly proportional to the input oil pressure (see manual). For 250 bar (3600 psi) pressure, the resulting force is 2 tons (4400 lbs).
• Automatic 15mm (0.6") forward and backward movement.
• Compact size in relation to its clamping capacity.

• Various clamps on one single base plate available, with a single oil input. In this way, a monoblock is obtained which can clamp a large number of small work-pieces taking up very little space.
• Possibility of jaws adapted to the geometrical requirements of the work-piece.
• Available with custom designed jaws.
